We’ve been talking about Monello for a while now. The idea that your relationship with money is more about what’s going on inside you than what’s happening in your bank account. The path to financial wellness starts with understanding your patterns, not by downloading another budgeting spreadsheet.
Well, we went and built it. And now it’s time for you to tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what we got completely wrong.
Monello is officially available for testing on iPhone through Apple’s TestFlight program. Android is coming soon, we promise, but Apple is where we’re starting.
What you’re signing up for
This isn’t a polished marketing demo. This is the real app, in the early stages, and we’re inviting you in specifically because things might be rough around the edges. That’s kind of the point.
Here’s what you’ll find inside:
A Money Story Assessment that helps you see the patterns in how you think and feel about money. Not a quiz that tells you you’re bad with finances, but a real psychological profile that shows you where your habits come from.
A mood check-in system that tracks how you feel about your accounts over time. Not your actual balances, just your feelings. Because that’s where the real data lives.
Insights that connect the dots between your emotional patterns and your financial behaviors. The kind of stuff that makes you go “oh, that’s why I do that.”
And a whole lot more that we’d rather you discover on your own.
How to get in
Three steps. That’s it.
1. Download the TestFlight app from the App Store (it’s free, made by Apple, and it’s how developers share apps before they go live).

3. Follow the prompts to install Monello.
Then just use it. Poke around. Try things. If something breaks or confuses you, that’s exactly what we need to know about.
A word about privacy & AI
Monello is built on the core principles of user privacy, safety, and agency. This means your data remains private, and all AI features can be disabled.
Also, all data will be deleted before Monello is officially released -all of it.
The first 50 get Monello free. Forever.
We mean that. The first 50 people who join via TestFlight and help us test will receive full access to Monello for life, at no cost. No catch, no “limited time” nonsense. We want to take care of the people who took a chance on us before the app was even finished.
